    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Once registered, how will I join the virtual event?

You'll join via the Virtual Venue, which will launch when the “doors” open at 12:00pm ET on Thursday, April 27. The celebration begins then and you won't want to miss it! Be sure to use your laptop or desktop computer for the optimal event experience.

    Instructions for Thursday, April 27:

    • Log in with the email address you used at registration or with your ticket number (located in your confirmation email).
    • Check your email for a quick "magic" link to immediately join the event LIVE — you'll receive this link in reminder emails leading up to the event.
    • Head to the Virtual Venue, select the current session (will specify LIVE NOW), and click the “Join Now" button in the top right corner.

How can I be best prepared to access the livestream on the day-of and avoid any technical issues?

To get the most from your online experience, we recommend trying the following before contacting the support chat:

    • Close any background applications
    • Close out of any other windows and tabs
    • Use a supported internet browser (Google Chrome is the preferred browser of Bizzabo and Safari is not supported)
    • Use a wired internet connection
    • Use Wi-Fi when on a mobile/tablet device
    • Disconnect from any VPNs
    • Use the email address used to register

Always clear the event website cache and cookies if you experience an issue. When in doubt, please refresh your browser.

I'm still having trouble accessing the event. What should I do?

During the live event, visit the agenda page on The Virtual Venue (event interface) and use our Bizzabo chat feature to connect directly with a live support specialist. The live support specialist is ready to assist you with technical platform questions and support (audio, video, etc.). Just click the blue “Chat” button in the bottom right corner of your browser and ask your question!

Our support team is available during event hours on Thursday, April 27 should you require any assistance.

Which language will the event be held in?

This event is being held in English.

    Will the event be recorded?

Yes, all of the sessions will be recorded. We’ll send an email out the day after the event with the access link, so you can view the content at your own pace, from anywhere.

How can I ask the speakers questions and interact with my fellow attendees during the event?

Many of our sessions will include time for audience Q&A. To ask your questions, please post them under the chat channel labeled “Ask the Speaker” — the questions and channels will be monitored by the event moderators. We will not display any inappropriate questions. We might not have time to get to all questions but we will do our best. Please be kind and courteous.

You'll also have the chance to connect with fellow attendees via instant messaging and interact with the moderators in the "Join the conversation" chat channel.

How can I connect in the Women at Work Live Community?

As a registered ticket holder, you'll have a chance to interact with fellow conference attendees.

    • The Women at Work Live Community is a virtual networking hub. You'll have the ability to interact with your fellow conference participants. Complete your event profile (located at the top right of your screen) ahead of time.
    • You can message attendees prior to the event and during the event. Get in touch about the sessions you're most excited to attend or connect during the event to discuss thoughts and ideas.
    • Keep the conversation going after the event. The community will live on our site for months after the event. Come back to engage with fellow conference-goers well after the live event has ended.
    • You are welcome to opt out at any time.

I want to share that I'm attending the Women at Work Live event with my colleagues, friends, and family. How can I do that?

Leading up the event, HBR will post announcements on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Like, share, and repost our event announcements to spread the word.
