Revealing the Invisible: Sample Preparation Methods for Fuel Cell Research Using Electron Microscopy
About This Event
In the next installment of our popular online workshop series, Revealing the Invisible, join us for an in-depth look at fuel cell research and learn how to improve your sample imaging through a precise preparation workflow for EM imaging. Our team of experts from ZSB Ulm and Leica Microsystems will guide you through a workflow that combines mechanical precision preparation with ion beam milling processing. Using the Leica EM TXP, TIC 3X, ACE600 and VCT500, we will demonstrate how to prepare samples for fuel cell research, resulting in high-quality EM images. During the workshop, we will cover various topics related to sample preparation for fuel cell research, including cross-sectioning and flat milling with ion milling for applications in the energy and automotive industries. Additionally, we will discuss ion milling techniques for temperature-sensitive samples, such as those found in the polymer and chemistry industries, and in particular ZSB scientists will share details of their cross-sectioning methods for Metal Bipolar Plates and Catalyst Combined Membranes (CCMs). Designed for EM users of all levels, this interactive online workshop provides practical tips and tricks for sample preparation, as well as a Q&A session with our specialists. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to enhance your fuel cell research skills and learn from leading experts in the field!
