We will require all conference attendees, including speakers, entertainers, and HIP staff, to attest to their vaccination status against COVID-19 or attest to a medical or religious exemption. Attestation by attendees will be part of their online registration.
We will require all conference attendees to have a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test result within 24 hours of their check-in at HIP’s Conference. Rapid tests will be provided by HIP onsite to test onsite and/or test daily. Only those with a negative test result within 24 hours of their onsite check-in will be given a conference badge required for entry.
At registration, you will have a choice of colored lanyards to indicate your needs/preferences for social distancing: Black: Hugs are welcome. Red: NO physical contact wanted, “no exceptions”.
We will ask attendees to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability if you were unable to complete during your online registration. You will only need to complete these requirements once upon arrival to receive a conference badge at registration; your badge will allow you entry for the following days.
If you are feeling ill, you should not enter the conference space. HIP reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who exhibits symptoms of illness or who refuses to comply with entry requirements. Anyone with a positive test result should isolate themselves and quarantine according to CDC guidelines. Any expenses incurred as a result of a positive test, including any related to isolation or quarantine, will be the sole responsibility of the attendee.
Masks will be optional onsite. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own masks.
Sanitizer stations will be located throughout the conference space to encourage healthy hygiene.
