Val Nav Reserves Management
This course is intended for Val Nav users responsible for booking reserves and posting a reserves database. The course covers the reserves management workflow within Val Nav from start to finish. Initially preparing the database with defining jurisdiction, change record categories/sequences and opening balance. Proceeding through general engineering edits with highlight to specific edits that require additional reserve management steps. Finalizing the database by generating applicable reserves management reports and posting the database for next reserves management season. It is recommended that you have previous experience with Val Nav prior to attending the Reserves Management course. What is virtual training?
Virtual training is real-time training conducted remotely by Quorum University instructors. The class duration will vary by course.
What will I see on my screen?
You'll see live stream web delivery of the instructor's screen as he/she speaks, provides examples, and answers questions. The class is designed to parallel its classroom equivalent to the greatest extent possible, and to that end you will also see everything the instructor types clearly without impediment.
Some courses may provide access to an online learning environment where you will have access to the software application for the duration of the course to allow you to gain additional expertise with the system.
What are the system requirements for live virtual training?

What happens if I am unable to connect to the training session?
If it is an outage or other problem on Quorum University’s side of the connection, we will offer a make-up class. We will not be held responsible for missed classes based on factors outside of Quorum University’s control. If you experience an outage or other problem on your side, simply rejoin the meeting as soon as connection is restored.
Can I ask questions during the class?
Yes, you can ask questions directly of the instructor or you can utilize the chat function to post questions.
Do I receive a course book? If so, when should I expect it?
Materials vary by course. During registration, you can choose if you would like to receive an electronic or hard copy manual. With each manual, you should expect it a few days before class starts.

Can I record the class sessions?
The class sessions are content copyrighted by Quorum Software and recordings and/or reuse of the class sessions cannot be made without prior consent from Quorum Software.
What is the cancelation policy?
Registration fees are 100% refundable if cancelation is received 15 days prior to the first day of class. If the cancelation is fewer than 15 days in advance, your fees will be credited toward future training. Quorum reserves the right to cancel any scheduled course date. For a class to take place, there must be a minimum of two attendees.
