About the Event

Media Academy is a two-day event produced by the School of Communications with our industry partners to give our students the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the premier communications professionals in business, entertainment and social media. All are welcome to join us in the Workshops, learning the latest developments in such topics as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Production, Film Production and Story Development, Animation Technologies, Social Media Influencing, and Career Development. And be sure to RSVP for our opening event, a panel discussion focusing on non-profit media featuring the area’s leading public media officials, followed by a networking happy hour.
