About the Event
To progress our understanding of complex cellular behavior in the tumor microenvironment, spatially informed discovery tools aimed at finely resolving the heterogeneous nature of the tumor microenvironment are required. Previously researchers had to make tradeoffs around spatial resolution, and number of targets in traditional, RNA-based investigations of FFPE tumor samples. The ability to spatially resolve the whole transcriptome of the tumor microenvironment with the power of single cell scale resolution enables a new understanding of tumor progression and metastasis, with potential to inform future clinical strategies. In this webinar, the 10x team behind the preprint will discuss how they used Visium HD to explore immune cell populations in the tumor microenvironment of FFPE preserved colorectal cancer tumor samples. Join us to learn about: ● Visium HD as a powerful tool for exploring the immune cell populations present in the tumor microenvironment at unprecedented resolution ● The Visium HD technology and how the data compares to Visium v2 ● In depth characterization of T cell populations in the tumor microenvironment using Xenium In Situ
