Event FAQs
Who should attend the ASPCA Right Horse Summit?
Anyone with a passion for helping horses through adoption should join us for the ASPCA Right Horse Summit. We encourage all of our ASPCA Right Horse Partners, as well as potential partners, veterinarians, farriers, equine industry professionals, students and interested advocates to attend. The Summit is a place where we can learn and converse for the benefit of at-risk equines, and we hope you’ll join us at the table.
What is included in my registration fee?
Your registration fee includes access to all sessions, learning materials, a daily breakfast and SWAG. Please note that lunch is not included. To take advantage of the locale, we will be allocating time mid-day for attendees to tour the stockyards and purchase lunch at their convenience.
Is my registration fee refundable?
Your registration fee is refundable only until March 1, 2025.
Who is eligible for a travel reimbursement?
ASPCA Right Horse Adoption Partners, active Warm-Up Ring groups and non-profit Industry Partners are eligible to receive a $500 travel reimbursement to offset the costs of attending. Reimbursements are available for 20 groups and are available on a first-come, first-served basis for qualified organizations. Early registration is encouraged. If you’re not a Partner, learn more about the pathway to partnership and the many associated benefits.
Is there a student discount?
Yes! If you are a student interested in attending the conference, please contact us to receive a code.
What do I need to bring to Summit?
Bring a curious and creative mind, and the desire to connect with your fellow attendees. Outside of that, we encourage you to bring close toed shoes, or boots, and long pants for the hands-on horse sessions at Humane Society of North Texas. You’re also welcome to bring your own camera if you’d like to use it during the onsite session.
New this year, we're having a themed cocktail hour for Partners and Warm-Up Ring groups. While western-theme attire is not required, we encourage you to bring your denim and diamonds for a fun, themed evening of partnership, connection and line dancing.
Is transportation provided?
We will provide a bus to get to Humane Society of North Texas on March 18 for the hands-on horse sessions. The bus pickup and drop-off will be at Stockyard Station. Transportation will not be provided on March 19 or 20 and attendees will be responsible for getting themselves to the Stockyard Station for those sessions.
