Empower Future Servant Leaders
Announcing the return of the Student Leadership Workshop at CSI Southeast, led by Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser, a 45+ year expert in student leadership, and Taylor Watts, a prolific leadership session leader as well. Tailored for high school leaders, the dynamic format emphasizes active engagement in activities and insights covering standards, discipline, communication, risk-taking, motivation, and handling insecurities. Join us for this transformative experience!
The workshop, tailored primarily for 11th and 12th graders, seeks proactive role models with a positive attitude. We aim to delve deeper, requiring full commitment from participants right from the start. This approach allows the curriculum to provide more engaging, hands-on experiences, particularly with a smaller, select group of student leaders. Our goal is not to persuade individuals to become leaders but to provide intensive training for those who have already chosen this path. Does this sound like the kind of workshop that appeals to your student leaders? We are ready to welcome them!
Directors play a vital role in selecting candidates, focusing on those truly prepared for the task. It's essential that students chosen exhibit personal maturity and a genuine desire to serve others as the foundation of their leadership spirit.
Final thoughts from Dr. Tim, "I have witnessed certain signs about the possibilities of group energy throughout the years; it is extraordinary when it happens, and those students involved go back to their schools with creative new insights about the possibilities within their own environments. "
