JUSTICE & GLOBAL MISSIONS GATHERING
Northview Church, Binford Campus
Friday, February 21, 2025
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Doors open at 9:30 a.m.)
EVENT DETAILS
Your church is a part of God's plan to bring justice to those living in the margins around the world. The church is commissioned by God to “seek and defend the oppressed”. The existence of modern slavery and human trafficking reminds us that injustice is still a lived reality for more than 50 million people. How should we respond to this injustice?
This exclusive gathering will bring together pastors and mission leaders to discuss the intersection of missional engagement with the work of justice globally. During this time, you will learn more about IJM’s work to combat violence against people living in poverty, identify ways to embrace your church’s role in the justice mission and learn from your peers on how justice and global missions inspires spiritual formation and the flourishing of the church.
Joining us will be IJM’s Founder & CEO, Gary Haugen, who will discuss global justice and the vital role of the church in advocating for those affected by violence and poverty. We will set aside time for prayer and worship, as well as peer-to-peer learning over a meal together.
