Ryan Walters is a former high school teacher and the current Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Elected in 2022, he ran on a promise to put students first, restore academic excellence, and ensure that Oklahoma schools reflect the values of the communities they serve.

Dr. Jamie C. Polk, Superintendent of OKCPS, is a visionary leader with 30+ years in education. Known for data-driven strategies and equity-focused systems, she has led major gains in student achievement and district accountability. Her work in Lawton and OKCPS earned national recognition, including a National Title I Distinguished School award. Dr. Polk also serves on various civic, philanthropic, and educational boards. A former adjunct professor and proud wife, mother, and “Diva” to her grandchildren, she remains devoted to empowering Oklahoma’s students and educators through innovation and collaboration.
