2025 Commissioner's Conference for Superintendents

The Maine Department of Education (DOE) is excited to be hosting its 112th Annual Commissioner’s Conference for Superintendents! This event will take place from Sunday, June 22, 2025, through Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center in Bar Harbor. The theme of the conference this year is “Leadership During a Dynamic Moment in Public Education.” Jeffrey Riley, former Massachusetts Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education and Senior Advisor at Day of AI, will be conducting the keynote speech. Presentations by Maine DOE staff members and other education leaders will range in topic from Federal and State updates, to AI literacy, to best cybersecurity practices—and more.
