About The Event
Community Weekend (CW) was created to bring together the Scholars of the Lenfest College Scholarship Program. Over the years, the program has grown, and so has the weekend. Community Weekend is a 3-day event that focuses on connecting Scholars, Scholar Alums, and other members of the Lenfest community. These groups engage in educational sessions, social and networking events, a celebratory banquet, and more. Community Weekend will continue bridging the gap between new and familiar cohorts by bringing them together once a year for moments of learning, reflection, and celebration.
CW 25 will take place at Gettysburg College, Friday, June 27 - Sunday, June 29, and we’re excited to announce the theme for Community Weekend 2025: "Building Balance: Strengthening Ourselves and Our Communities."
This year’s Community Weekend will focus on how Scholars and Scholar Alums can cultivate personal growth, foster meaningful relationships, and engage in impactful conversations to create stronger, more inclusive communities. We will explore the balance between individual well-being and collective empowerment, learning how to navigate challenges together and thrive in our personal, academic, and professional lives.

Community Weekend 2024
In 2024, Community Weekend was held at Franklin & Marshall College and explored the theme "Everyday Influencers." Scholars, educators, alums, and professionals came together to discuss what it means to be a leader in our communities.
We are deeply grateful for your participation year after year. CW 24 highlighted the connections and shared experiences that make Lenfest special.
