    About the Event

Effective literacy instruction begins with knowledgeable, research-informed leadership. Without strong administrative support, collaborative teams, and aligned systems, it is difficult to sustain high-quality literacy instruction. This 1-day professional development provides an overview of the science of reading and its connection to effective writing instruction. Educational leaders will explore how to drive literacy improvement at the school level using evidence-based practices. Grounded in systems thinking and implementation science, the session equips leaders to build sustainable, research-aligned literacy programs and effectively support educators throughout their literacy journey.
