Airport

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is a short 10-minute drive from the campus of ASU. PHX is served by 24 different airlines flying non-stop to over 120 domestic locations. The PHX Sky Train (airport transportation between terminals and the rental car lot) connects to the public transportation system - Valley Metro Rail - at the 44th Street/Washington station. Many Tempe hotels also provide complimentary shuttle service.

Ground Transportation

Ride-Share: There are several varieties of app-based ride-share services available in the Tempe area, such as Uber and Lyft. If you are feeling adventurous, you can also enjoy the driverless technology offered by Waymo.

Taxi Service: To call a taxi service, simply dial (480) 232-4511 to schedule your ride. Ensure that you provide the dispatcher with your exact location. 

Rental Car: Several car rental options are conveniently located at the Rental Car Center at Phoenix Sky Harbor. You can use the PHX Sky Train from the terminal to the rental car facility. Trains arrive every 3-5 minutes and operate 24 hours a day.

Public Transportation: There are a variety of public transportation options available in the Tempe area offered by Valley Metro. Train, bus, or streetcar - choose the option that works best for you.
