Meet the Experts
Rachel Adams
Rachel brings more than 30 years of experience in water damage and environmental health. She holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Medical Technology (Toxicology) from Purdue University and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
As President of Indoor Environmental Management, Inc. (IEM), Rachel conducts commercial and residential inspections serving clients throughout North America, Canada, and Australia. Her industry leadership is extensive: she served on the IICRC Board of Directors, was appointed Technical Advisory Committee Chair for the development of the IICRC AMRT program (a position she still holds today), and currently serves as the IICRC Restoration Division Chair. She also chairs the Technical Advisory Committee for the IICRC MRS (Mold Removal Specialist), an approved exam for state mold remediation licensing in several states. Rachel is a certified instructor for AMRT, WRT, ASD, HST, and OSHA 10- and 30-hour compliance courses.
Branden Adams
Brandon is an accomplished safety and restoration professional with over a decade of hands-on field experience. Beginning his career at Amerestore as a field technician, he advanced through the ranks to become Senior Project Manager, Senior Estimator, and ultimately Chief Safety Officer and Director of Education. He has led projects spanning water, fire, mold, and biohazard remediation, as well as comprehensive safety program implementation.
Branden currently serves as Director of Education for America's Restoration Training Institute, where he develops course content, creates technical manuals, and delivers instruction to restoration professionals nationwide. He holds Triple Master status through the IICRC (Master Water, Master Fire & Smoke, Master Textile Cleaner), is a certified MRS, and has earned the ASP credential through the BCSP. He is an IICRC Instructor for HST and assistant instructor for ASD, AMRT, and TCST.
Additionally, as an ICRA 2.0 instructor who regularly teaches in healthcare settings, Branden brings a unique perspective on the critical importance of proper containment procedures. His experience working within medical facilities and hospitals—where containment is essential to prevent the spread of infectious materials during remediation—ensures you'll receive the most rigorous, field-tested training available. He also serves as an Industrial Hygienist with Indoor Environmental Management, Inc., conducting site assessments, collecting and interpreting microbial and CBP samples, and writing detailed remediation protocols for building owners, public adjusters, and insurance carriers.

IICRC Exam Registration
If you are attending WRT/ASD (the second week of NFT) you are required to register for that class. You can register through the IICRC for the exam and submit the applicable examination fee. You can review the process by watching this short help video.
