Student Leadership Workshop
Empower Future Servant Leaders
Announcing the Student Leadership Workshop at CSI Southeast led by Taylor Watts, Assistant Band Director at Kell High School, and Dr. Gregory Drane, Director of Athletic Bands at Penn State University. Together, they will present a dynamic workshop tailored for high school leaders, emphasizing active engagement in activities and insights covering standards, discipline, communication, risk-taking, motivation, and handling insecurities. Join us for this transformative experience!
The workshop, tailored primarily for 11th and 12th graders, seeks proactive role models with a positive attitude. We aim to delve deeper, requiring full commitment from participants right from the start. This approach allows the curriculum to provide more engaging, hands-on experiences, particularly with a smaller, select group of student leaders. Our goal is not to persuade individuals to become leaders but to provide intensive training for those who have already chosen this path. Does this sound like the kind of workshop that appeals to your student leaders? We are ready to welcome them!
Directors play a vital role in selecting candidates, focusing on those truly prepared for the task. It's essential that students chosen exhibit personal maturity and a genuine desire to serve others as the foundation of their leadership spirit.
For directors choosing to send a group of more than 5 students, a group discount of 20% per student and one FREE educator registration for CSI Southeast is available.
