About The Event
The development of various immunotherapies relies on exploiting the precision of the immune system. Permitting a targeted approach to killing cancer cells, whilst sparing healthy cells. Successful use of immunotherapies to combat cancer, and other disease states, is expanding rapidly, with an increasing number of therapies approved for clinical use.
Cell therapies, with the introduction of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells lead the field. The CAR construct is designed to interact with a specific surface epitope or antigen present on the tumor cell. Leading to enablement of the immune cell to kill the tumor cell.
As interest in CAR-T cells and immune-based oncology therapies increases, there is an increasing requirement for efficient and rapid phenotyping of potential cell therapy products.
To address this demand, it is essential that both the instruments for cell interrogation and the supporting tools for panel design, can flexibly accommodate the variety of required markers.
This webinar includes a case study, which highlights the application of a cytometry panel builder, to support the creation of suitable panels for T cell phenotyping.
