About the Event
Join us for an engaging four-part seminar series designed to educate, empower, and inspire action against human trafficking. Each session explores one or more of the "5 P's" - the key pillars in our collective effort to end trafficking and support vulnerable youth within Riverside County. Seminar 1: Prevention Wednesday, January 7, 2026 Education as a Pathway to Prevention: Discover how schools and educators play a critical role in recognizing red flags, fostering awareness, and creating safe environments where youth can thrive. Seminar 2: Protection & Prosecution Wednesday, January 14, 2026 The Role of Law Enforcement and the Justice System: Gain insight into how Riverside County’s multidisciplinary teams work together to protect youth, build strong cases, and pursue justice—without further traumatizing victims. Seminar 3: Policy Wednesday, January 21, 2026 Policy that Protects and Empowers: Examine how legislation has evolved to combat human trafficking and explore how advocacy and policy can continue to drive meaningful change. Seminar 4: Partnerships Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Collaboration in Care and Placement: Learn how partnerships, compassion, and harm-reduction strategies help meet the complex needs of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) and how families and community members can become part of the solution.
