About The Event
Maintaining consistent performance between spectral flow cytometry experiments is crucial, particularly when acquiring single-stained controls and multicolor samples. Consistency allows for the reuse of spectral references in unmixing calculations. Uniform performance becomes even more important when multiple instruments are employed for data collection in cross-site studies. Flow cytometers from Sony Biotechnology offer a standardization feature for both the ID7000 Spectral Cell Analyzers and the new FP7000 Spectral Cell Sorters. This capability facilitates standardization across different platforms and enables easier panel portability.
In this webinar, we will share the highlights of a broad study describing how bead and cell data was collected using various instruments at different PMT voltage settings and at multiple time points to evaluate performance over time, both within and across platforms. The results demonstrate that equivalent signals were achieved across the different test scenarios. Standardization effectively controlled for variations within each instrument over time, and among multiple instruments, while allowing for optimal performance.
This feature enables users to increase workflow efficiency through reuse of spectral references at varying voltage settings, conserving resources and bolstering confidence in data quality.
