    Call for Presentations

    Call for Presentations

Abstract Submission Deadline: March 6th, 2026

    User Conference Dates: June 8 – 11, 2026

Our Call for Presentations is now open.

We invite you to step into the spotlight at Leica Geosystems Reality Capture UC.  As a featured speaker, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise, inspire peers, and share insights into how laser scanning transforms workflows, redefines accuracy, and unlocks new possibilities across industries. Whether you are pushing the limits of reality capture hardware, mastering high-precision workflows, or pioneering creative applications of point-cloud data, this is your platform to help lead the conversation.

We are seeking sessions that go beyond results to reveal the “how” behind success. Attendees want to see real workflows—how data was captured, processed, and delivered. Share your methods, challenges, and lessons learned along the way: what worked, what did not, and what you would do differently next time. The most impactful sessions are those that give the audience practical insight into the tools, techniques, and decision-making that make a difference. Whether you are demonstrating field capture strategies, data-management innovations, or automation in processing, help your peers walk away with actionable knowledge they can apply immediately.

    Why Participate?

This is an opportunity to present your expertise in reality capture.

If selected, your conference fee will be waived. You will be responsible for your lodging and travel costs.

You will have networking opportunities where you can make connections with reality capture professionals from various industries using laser scanning workflows.

You will also gain valuable insights from other experts in the field to enhance or add to your current workflow.

    Some suggested themes:

    • Multi-sensor Fusion Projects: Leveraging multiple sensor platforms to create a comprehensive digital twin.
    • Automation and AI in Point Cloud Processing: Innovative ways to streamline extraction, classification, and modeling.
    • Success in Safety: Using laser scanning to reduce human risk or mitigate complex safety requirements.
    • Lessons Learned: Examples of a challenging project that did not go as planned, and how the challenges were overcome.
    • Cutting Edge Workflows: Showcase your outside-the-box mindset with innovative workflow ideas that go beyond the “intended” use case.
    • Sustainable Solutions: Present projects that have positively impacted the environment by using advanced laser scanning technology.
