Beam-on breakouts: Elevate and collaborate through personalized learning - Saturday, July 18, 2026 - 3:00pm to 5:30pm

Join us for the Beam-on breakouts, a table-hopping, round-robin happy hour where you select the topics you want to discuss. Think of it as a users meeting where you create the agenda from over 20 possible topics.  

• Choose the 4 topics you find most interesting to engage in a small group conversation with Varian and Siemens Healthineers experts
• Over drinks and snacks, collaborate, network, and deepen your knowledge on topics that interest you most

Low stress, high impact: vibe coding for physicists - Saturday, July 18, 2026 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Join us with your charged laptop for a follow-along, hackathon workshop-style event, previously known as the Varian Developer Symposium. Along with pizza and beverages, the evening will include:

• ARIA API examples integrating with ESAPI projects
• Examples of ESAPI launchers into full standalone .html client browser-based tools using vibe coding software development environments to handle the HTML5/JavaScript tooling
• IDE-less pure C# simple LLM based vibe coding examples and experimentation

Ethos users group* - Monday, July 20, 2026 - 12:15pm to 1:15pm

Current Ethos users, spend lunchtime on Monday at an unique, World Cup–style competition bringing together participants from across Canada, the United States, and international teams. Come share and learn from your peers through:

• Ethos World Cup - Kidney SBRT-template competition

This competition is designed to showcase planning expertise, collaboration, and innovation using Ethos radiotherapy. Winning teams will have the opportunity to participate in a group discussion showcasing their planning tips and tricks as well as overall adaptive strategies.

• Ethos World Cup interactive trivia

An interactive trivia during the event will test your knowledge of Ethos and adaptive therapy in general.

Competition timeline and details

• Initial competition registration deadline: June 12
• Datasets and instructions will be sent out June 12 to those who registered for the competition
• Winning teams will have a chance to present their planning philosophy and template at this event
