Get Involved at ASH: Volunteer Opportunities

This webinar focuses on volunteer opportunities at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and how members can become more involved in the Society. ASH Clinical News Editor-in-Chief Dr. Aaron Gerds facilitated a roundtable discussion with three ASH members at various career stages and with different levels of volunteer experience and involvement with ASH. Topics of discussion include the different types of volunteer opportunities available at ASH, why individuals should get involved, and how to take that first step. The speakers also provide insight into their own experiences volunteering with ASH, discussing how and why they initially became involved with ASH in a volunteer capacity, how they came to be in their current volunteer or leadership roles at ASH, and how their volunteer experience has contributed to their career growth and development over the years.
