Jennis Jongerius is one of the first team members of &samhoud media: an Amsterdam based creative agency specialized in augmented and virtual reality. With a background in traditional media and an unremitting interest in technology he brings an alternative view into the highly developed AR/VR environment in The Netherlands and specifically Amsterdam. With &samhoud media Jennis is constantly exploring ways companies can incorporate augmented and virtual reality in their current and future portfolio. This has lead to multiple projects for Dutch leading supermarket Albert Heijn, among which an award-winning marketing campaign that meant a breakthrough for AR and VR in The Netherlands and introduced millions to these new technologies. With customers just as divers as his team Jennis believes AR and VR can be of added value to any organization. In his lectures Jennis shares his insights on how these technologies will impact the way we reach and serve customers, train and educate employees, design and manufacture products and ultimately, on how companies compete.
