AVID Riverside County (ARC) AVID Center AVID Elective Level 2: Tutorials and Refining Implementation (Two-day Training)

About the Event

This advanced course is for educators who have previously completed AVID Elective Level 1 and are ready to deepen implementation of the AVID Tutorial Process. Participants will refine the 10-step tutorial model, enhance student inquiry and collaboration, and align tutorials with rigorous academic expectations. Emphasis is placed on student accountability, tutor training, and using tutorials to support access to advanced coursework and promote a college-going culture. This is a two-day training. Includes resources and materials. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Audience: New Secondary Elective AVID Teachers that have completed Level 1 Cost: Free This training is provided at no cost by Riverside County Office of Education for Riverside County public school educators.
