About the Event

This certification training is designed for new and experienced AVID College Tutors. Participants will learn the 10 Steps to the AVID Tutorial process, how to foster inquiry and collaboration, ways to promote note-taking to capture new thinking, and research-supported strategies to enhance summarization and reflection amongst their tutorial groups of students. Includes resources and materials. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Audience: New and Experienced AVID Tutors, AVID Elective Teachers Cost: Free This workshop is provided at no cost by Riverside County Office of Education for Riverside County public school educators.
