AVID Riverside County (ARC) WICOR for Schoolwide Rigor - Elementary

About the Event

This workshop is designed for elementary educators who want to seamlessly use all components of WICOR as they design lessons for their students. During this workshop elementary teachers of all grades will have practice in implementing Writing to Learn, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading to Learn (WICOR®) strategies. Educators will work to systematize best practices for schoolwide implementation of intentional and meaningful WICOR integration. Educators will walk away with a deeper understanding of each component of WICOR and strategies they take back to their classroom to use immediately. (It is suggested that educations have taken the AVID Center Communities of Practice Foundations/Implementation as a prerequisite to this training.) *This is a two-consecutive-day workshop.
