Braumann attended The George Washington University, where he earned his MBA in finance. He currently maintains the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation as well as the Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, and the Virginia life, annuities and health insurance licenses. He began his career in banking more than 30 years ago. He is a member of the board of directors for two not-for-profit organizations in the metro/Washington, D.C., area.
