Lillian Dunlevy, CFP®, CEPA, CDFA, CES™ is a senior vice president, business and financial planning strategist for BB&T Wealth, based in Northern Virginia. Supporting a regional territory within the bank, she addresses business owner planning needs in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. As a certified exit planning advisor, she provides comprehensive, fee-based financial and business advisory services, specializing in helping owners of closely-held businesses protect and preserve their business value and address their business transition goals. Leveraging an extensive network of resources, Dunlevy structures integrated financial strategies that enable high-net worth clients, their families and respective businesses to maximize opportunities for wealth accumulation, preservation and legacy transfer, with attention to minimizing tax exposure, and maximizing personal, family and business financial goals. Dunlevy joined BB&T’s Wealth Division in 2010, and she has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically working with high net-worth individuals, their families and business. Prior to BB&T, Dunlevy’s experience encompassed fee-based planning advisory services, corporate internal audit, public accounting and financial planning practice management. Dunlevy is a Virginia Commonwealth University graduate, with a major in accounting and finance with a concentration in financial planning. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Exit Planning Institute (EPI) and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA).
