About the Event
Bank of Ireland UK are excited to introduce the first of our unique events to launch our Business Owners Insights programme, aimed at a select number of handpicked enterprising business owners within Northern Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to engage with like-minded business owners; to interact, be inspired and learn new skills.

Dress code: Smart casual but please wear comfy shoes for a short walk around the Cathedral Quarter.

Our Speakers
Breda McCague
A driven, innovative transformation specialist whose biggest passion is motivating and engaging people and organisations. As well as being an expert in public speaking, key notes and panel discussions, Breda has also had great success delivering motivational career coaching to women and men with an appetite for growth.
With a huge belief that work can have some fun in it too, Breda drives a particular focus on injecting energy and enthusiasm into the work environment. She has a massive interest in the power of branding, an avid supporter of women in business and is proud to be a CoFounder for Lean-In Ireland.
Breda works for Bank of Ireland as Head of Risk Management Support on Core Banking System Programme and throughout her 19 year banking career she has gained extensive experience in regulatory, financial, payments, technology, CSR change and more.
Willy Jack
If you’ve had a drink in the Cathedral Quarter, it’s likely to have been in one of Willy Jack’s bars. Willy is a visionary and an inspiring business man. He is owner of the Harp Bar, The Dark House, The Duke of York, Orpheus and the whiskey museum The Friend at Hand.
His investment and passion have transformed the Cathedral Quarter over the last 5 year. His passion for artwork and live music has made the area into one of the most instagrammed part of Belfast and the heart of the nightlife in Belfast.
Niall McKenna
Niall McKenna is the Chef and Owner of James Street & Co restaurant group, James St & Hadskis Restaurants in Belfast, along with the James Street South Cookery School and private dining rooms. A flag bearer for Northern Ireland’s food scene he champions world-class quality local produce.
Niall is passionate about fostering new talent and focused influencing the next generation of hospitality students in their career choices.
Recognised as a true leader for the industry, was hailed a ‘Tourism Hero’ by industry chiefs, gas received a Belfast Telegraph Business Award in 2016 for his “Contribution to Hospitality and Tourism” and more recently was appointed as a visiting Professor of the University of Ulster.
Holly Wilson
After graduating from Ulster University in 2012, Holly Wilson joined the newly opened Titanic Belfast, initially as a Barista before being asked to be a part of the Business Sales and Events team. After 4 successful years at Titanic, Holly decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and left to travel Australia solo for a year. Upon her return to Northern Ireland she was appointed as the Events Manager at Belfast Cathedral as part of a Heritage Lottery grant to help the Cathedral take a commercial direction. After 2 years as the Cathedral’s Event Manager, Holly was promoted to Commercial Business Manager and now manages all the commercial activity at the Cathedral – Events, Tourism & Retail.
