Dr. Randolph C. Schulte serves as Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the Tennessee Board of Regents system. He is responsible for quality assurance and improvement processes for TBR universities and community colleges. Dr. Schulte serves on the TBR Completion Delivery Unit, which is designed to help the TBR meet student success goals linked to the Complete College Tennessee Act and Governor Haslam’s “Drive to 55” initiative. Dr. Schulte coordinates the Tennessee Transfer Pathways, Reverse Transfer and PLA initiatives as well as the newly initiated TN Reconnect program in support of the completion agenda. Dr. Schulte joined the TBR staff in 2007 after serving 12 years at Chattanooga State Community College as Assistant Dean for Arts & Sciences and Dean for Business and Information Systems. Dr. Schulte earned the Doctor of Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, the Master of Arts in Teaching from Colgate University and the Bachelors of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Phi Beta Kappa.
