Important note: Effective August 24, 2022, the Cayman Islands will lift all travel restrictions. All travelers—vaccinated and unvaccinated, can visit without any COVID-19-related protocols. No protocols will be in effect when traveling to Cayman for Caribbean Aviation Day.

Travelers are NOT required to:

•   Apply for a Travel Declaration or Travel Request via Travel Cayman

•   Present a negative COVID-19 test

•   Show proof of vaccination

•   Wear a mask

IATA Visa Waiver Guidance

Do you need a Visa Waiver? 

A Visa may be required for entry to the Cayman Islands.

For delegates requiring a VISA Waiver, applications can be made through the Ministry of Tourism & Transport and must be sent via email to Gina.Matthews@gov.ky and copied to MonaLisa.Meade@gov.ky .

Requests must include:

•    a colour copy of passport picture page

•    inbound and outbound flight details 

A Waiver letter will then be issued from the Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control prior to arrival.
