Case Study Adapt Begins in
Rebuilding Los Angeles communities while redefining resilient, economical, and future-ready residential design for SoCal and beyond
Case Study: Adapt (CSA) is a nonprofit revival of the pioneering mid-century Case Study House Program, reimagined for today’s climate challenges. Ten of Los Angeles’ leading architecture firms have each partnered with families who lost their homes in recent wildfires to design innovative, climate-resilient residences. Now entering the Design Release phase, CSA is unveiling these projects to the public for the first time.
The evening will begin with short presentations from each CSA firm, sharing their designs and resilience strategies. This will be followed by the opening of The Design Release Exhibition, featuring scale models of 10 CSA homes, created in collaboration with USC Architecture students, along with renderings and narratives that highlight fire-resilient innovations. Guests are invited to enjoy drinks and light refreshments while exploring the exhibition and engaging with the architects and students.
