Workshop: How to Adapt Quickly and Effectively to the New Normal (Hosted by Moovit)
As COVID-19 sent the world into lockdown, public transit ridership dropped to historic lows. Now that countries are starting their 'new normals', public transportation agencies and municipalities are facing challenges on how to win their ridership back, including:
•What service adaptations, such as microtransit, can more efficiently serve passengers while keeping riders and employees safe?
•How to communicate with riders on service changes and what precautions have been put in place?
Goals and Outcomes of the Workshop:
•Learn about the solutions that are enabling municipalities, transit agencies, and operators to redefine their mobility services and operate safely and effectively in the current climate
•Understand the importance of the MaaS platform in effectively adapting to the new normal
•Hear real examples of how agencies and organizations have quickly redefined their services to best serve their customers post-COVID
