    DNV GL Breakfast

    July 30th, 2019
    7.30am - 9.00am

Achieving expected generation costs from utility-scale solar projects

    Application, design and construction considerations

The dramatic fall in expected energy costs from utility-scale solar projects can only be realised in practice if the projects achieve the nominated energy production and operational lifetime.

Considerations that affect these outcomes include making the right equipment choices at the technology application and design stage, and ensuring that they are constructed to avoid any operational issues emerging over a long expected lifetime.

DNV GL is therefore running a breakfast meeting on Day 1 of the Clean Energy Summit, to provide important technical content from our international network of colleagues in solar technology.

    Key topics include

    • Digitalization and Future of Energy: Finance sector report
    • Assessing the potential of bi-facial technology: from monitoring to analysis to set the right energy production budget,
    • Civil and structural issues in the appropriate design of support structures
    • Floating solar: international experience with the design, construction and operation of Floating Solar projects

Breakfast will be served in this session.

This breakfast will be held as part of the Clean Energy Council's Australian Clean Energy Summit.
