Call for research papers:
The annual Data Science Summit Europe is a major international forum for the presentation of research results, and the demonstration of new systems and techniques, in the broad field of data science. This year it will have a separate research track that welcomes new research contributions, including (but not restricted to) the following topics:
Automation of machine-learning
Deep-learning and its applications
Internet monetization and online markets
Natural language processing
Reinforcement learning and its applications
Retrieval models and ranking
Semantics and knowledge
Social network analysis and computational social science
Transfer learning and domain adaptation
User modeling, personalization and experience
Web mining and content analysis
Submissions of extended abstracts must be in English, in PDF format. Suitable LaTeX and Word templates are available from the ACM Website. Submissions can describe either original work that has not been previously published or refer to a research work that has been published in the last 2 years.
In the case of an original publication, the extended abstract submission should not exceed three pages in ACM two-column format (excluding references).
In the case of an existing publication, the authors should include in the extended abstract template: (1) The existing abstract of the published paper, (2) A link to the full publication as it appeared and (3) The full bibliographic details of the conference/journal where it appeared.
