Getting There
If you are coming from the Toronto area, it's a piece of cake. The venue is immediately behind Toronto Union Station, on Maple Leaf Square. The Air Canada Centre is a few feet away. There's underground parking in the building. The subway stop is very nearby, and Union is also the hub for commuter rail and the Go Bus system. If you drive, it's just off the Gardiner.
If you are coming from out of town ...
AIR:
You can fly into the major Toronto airport, Pearson, via many different domestic and international carriers. Getting downtown is possible via taxi, car service (you can get an unscheduled limo at the curb) or by a new 20-minute rail shuttle that runs from the airport to Union Station. That starts running in summer 2015.
You can fly into Toronto Island Airport from a handful of US destinations (like Newark, Logan and Midway) via Porter Airlines (which is a terrific little carrier). Air Canada has some flights in and out of there, as well. Flying into the island means you are almost downtown, and it's a quick cab ride or even shuttle bus.
You can also fly into Buffalo and get a rental car to drive up from there. Just be aware it's about 2 hours of driving, and it can be more depending on time of day and border crossing volumes.
Train:
Via Rail and Amtrak have service to Union Station, and it's a walk from there.
Hotels:
It's downtown Toronto. There's a pile of hotels. We are working on getting a conference rate at one across the street. Stay tuned on that.
