This workshop provides insights of electrification and analysis of reducing CO2 emissions across the UK's Transport and Heat sectors.
A number of schemes to reduce carbon dioxide emissions are being developed across the United Kingdom. The goals of these programs are to reduce petroleum and diesel vehicles in favor of electric vehicles and to discourage natural gas for heating by replacing it with electric heat pumps. Ultimately, these tactics will drive more renewables into the power generation mix and to reduce emission from fossil fuels.
This workshop invites experts to discuss the impacts of these policies on achieving the intended goals, and analyse the impacts on wholesale power prices and gas demand from the power generation sector.
