Luc Muller

Luc Muller is a Senior Partner of Catalyst CEL Fund and serves as a General Manager and a board member of the Otto Group. The Otto Group is a privately owned, global, industrial and financial group with revenues of over US$550 million and more than 1,600 employees in 30 countries. Mr. Muller joined the Group in 1993, and his recent accomplishments include spearheading merger and acquisition initiatives totaling over US$800 million in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., growing waste-related European business from US$130 million to US$360 million from 2001 to 2008 and non-European business from US$40 million in 2003 to US$140 million currently. Mr. Muller manages the company’s manufacturing and private equity/venture capital activities out of its headquarters in Luxembourg, Singapore, and Charlotte. Mr. Muller also serves as Vice Chairman of Cukierman & Co Investment House (Israel). He is a board member of Catalyst (Israel) and Lamina Technologies (Switzerland). He is also a Vice Chairman of The Glass Art Fund. An MBA alumnus from INSEAD (Fontainebleau) with a bachelor’s degree in finance and controlling from the European Business School of the University Of Strasbourg (IECS), Mr. Muller launched his professional career in the U.S. with consulting and economic development assignments in Los Angeles and Boston.
