In 1957, Community Reach Center (formerly known as Adams Community Mental Health Center) was founded in Commerce City, Colorado. The clinic was staffed by a small visiting team of mental health providers from the University of Colorado Medical Center.
In 1967, Congress passed the Community Mental Health Centers Act, fulfilling President John F. Kennedy's vision to adopt a "bold new approach" to the treatment of mental illness in the United States. The Center was the first provider in the five-state Rocky Mountain region to build a comprehensive community mental health center with funds awarded through the Community Mental Health Centers Act. As news of the new client friendly, state-of-the-art facility spread beyond Colorado, mental health professionals from other states traveled to Colorado to tour the facility.
Sixty-five years later, the Center currently serves about 22,000 children, teens, adults and seniors annually at outpatient locations, schools, nursing homes, residential treatment and semi-independent living homes and primary care offices.

•Loads and unloads packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts and load gratings.

•Determines the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and memorizing information and sorts packages accordingly.
•Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Abilities and / or Licensure:
•Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
•Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

At Third Way Center, teens receive around-the-clock mental health treatment in one of our five licensed Residential Child Care Facilities (RCCFs) where they are given the stability and attention they need from our experienced staff. We have 120 full-time staff and 40 part-time staff including state-licensed Master Level Therapists, Mental Health Counselors, and more than 25 educational staff. Combined, our five licensed RCCFs are capable of serving up to 101 teens and 12 babies at one time. The average length of stay for teens at Third Way Center is approximately 7.5 months. Our programs have a 71% success rate in treating teenagers who have been unsuccessful in up to 30 other foster homes, treatment programs, failed adoptions and youth correction settings.
