Alfredo Babun, was born in Santiago de Chile, on September 8th., 1962. He studied his Primary and High School at Saint Gabriel’s School in Santiago de Chile and was graduated as Tourism Expert on 1983, at EDECTI Institute. During his career has done several trainings on Airport Operations, Reservations and Sales. He began his airlines career at Lineas Aereas Paraguayas back in 1984 as Ticketing and Rate Desk Agent. On 1986 he worked for Pan American World Airways Inc. as Rate Desk Supervisor, Manager of Providencia Ticket Office and Customer Service Manager at Airport. On 1992 he began working for United Airlines as Customer Service Supervisor, Station Manager, Reservation Manager, ending as Sales & Reservation Manager. Once United Airlines closed business in Santiago de Chile, he started working for Agunsa, enterprise which at that time was the General Sales Agent in Chile for United Airlines and Air Canada. Due to the expansion of operations of Air Canada in Chile, on February 2005, Alfredo was hired as General Manager for Chile and Peru, being promoted in 2014, as General Manager for the Andean Region, including Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, position he holds up to date. Since 2016 he acts as President of Achila, (Chilean Airlines Association).
