In the private sector, Marta specialized on program planning and development, leading change initiatives, and identifying new business opportunities. While at the non-profit sector she established for profit social innovation programs promoting self-economic sustainability, as well as funding strategies, raising over $50M. Marta's passion is to serve as mentor and sponsor for businesses in the start-up phase, resulting on sustainable and significant growth for companies. These success stories fueled the spark that founded AccessLatina, a multi-market accelerator for Latina entrepreneurs to enable their economic potential by opening new channels to capital and resources. Also leading her to become involved in angel investing and a Mentor at the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative. Marta has also served as a Board Member for private, government, and non-profit organizations and dedicated fifteen years establishing service programs in the federal, state, and municipal government to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability. Completed doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology. She is a recently selected Scholar at The Aspen Institute and is currently in the Executive Education Program of Social Impact Strategy at University of Pennsylvania.
