Dr. Jennifer Romo received her Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. While completing her degree, she was part of a longitudinal study focused on Latin American pregnant teenagers called Supporting MAMI (Mexican Adolescent Mothers and Infants). As a member of MAMI she travelled to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Tegucigalpa, Honduras for a medical brigade. After completing her undergraduate work, Jennifer went on to receive her M.D. Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Upon returning to the United States, Jennifer completed her medical-student training as a pre-intern in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Romo is currently a second year Pediatric Resident at Richmond University Medical Center, an affiliate of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After completing her residency, Dr. Romo hopes to continue providing care for the underserved population and the Latin community.
