Dr. Margaret Pearce is a second year Pediatric Resident at Richmond University Medical Center, an affiliate of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. The population of patients is extremely diverse with a large portion of Hispanic children served throughout the inpatient, emergency department and outpatient clinic settings. She is currently working on an asthma quality improvement project and helping to establish the Asthma Coalition of Staten Island with the goal to improve the lives of children and their families affected by asthma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Education at the University of Florida and her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine with clinical training in Miami, FL. After residency she plans to pursue her dream of caring f or premature and sick newborns with a fellowship in neonatology.
