Tracy Hadden Loh is a data scientist at the Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis at the George Washington University School of Business. Prior to joining GW, she was the director of research at the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. She holds a Ph.D. in city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses measuring the value of the elements of placemaking, and the Center's recent report on the economic performance and social equity of walkable places in the New York metro region can be found atwww.walkups.org/metrony/. Her service commitments include two years on the Mount Rainier City Council in Prince George's County, MD, two years on the board of the Gateway Community Development Corporation, and three years on the Standing Committee on Bicycle Transportation of the Transportation Research Board at the National Academy of Sciences.
