Ebony Conely-Young is the Executive Director of the Long Island City YMCA. She has worked diligently with YMCA’s across the country holding positions with Y-USA as Co-founder of the Emerging Leaders Group, AYP National Board of Director’s, Steering Committee Leader for various conferences & events, being a Mentor and Coach to aspiring leaders, and working as a Group Executive with the Y’s in Indiana. She is an advocate for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. She believes that serving people is her ultimate purpose in life and she is able to execute that on a daily basis as the director of the Long Island City Y in New York City. She is the mother of two wonderful girls- Trinity Imam Young-15yrs. Old and Noa-Siann Young-14yrs. Old both who are leaders and active in church, education, and sports. As a leader she believes in being a positive example and lives by the quote: “Be the Change you want to see”. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rad/TV/Film from Indiana State University and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Tech. Her ultimate goal in life is to always seek the needs of her community and be diligent in helping others reach their dreams and purpose in life!
