We invite Head Start staff and parents to join us for a fun-filled day of advocacy at the State Capitol in Sacramento! On May 9, you will attend an advocacy training to learn more about Head Start California's $50 million budget request. Then on May 10, attend a rally on the capitol steps and meet with legislators to tell them why Head Start is important to you!

The HSC Managers & Directors Institute (MDI) delivers high-quality professional development on program management, data best practices, fiscal management, and more. MDI is a great opportunity to connect with other Head Start leaders in the state to share best practices and learn from one another. This two-day event will feature two keynotes and over a dozen leadership-focused sessions for all levels of Head Start and Early Head Start managers.
