AVID Riverside County (ARC) New AVID Secondary Coordinators, Elective Teachers, and Administrators Network - Session I
About the Event
This workshop series is designed to support new AVID Secondary Coordinators, new AVID Elective Teachers and new AVID Administrators in their roles to champion AVID College Readiness on their campuses. Participants will have the opportunity to review and work through the Coaching and Certification Instrument (CCI) and certification process, ensuring they understand the AVID College and Career Readiness Standards and AVID Elective Standards. The series includes networking opportunities with peers, engagement with county office resources, practical strategies to implement AVID methodologies effectively, and guidance on using the AVID curriculum and Weeks at a Glance (WAGs). Continuous support throughout the series will ensure participants' success. This workshop series is highly recommended for all new AVID Coordinators and AVID Elective Teachers and new Administrators over AVID. (This is a 2-part series.) Includes resources and materials. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
