Q Community Event

We live in a world of interconnections and information overload. We’re increasingly realising peer networks can play a critical role in cutting through the complexity to achieve sustainable change that spreads. This one day event is designed to provide easy ways for you to make new contacts or re-connect with others who share your commitment to improvement. It will also help you develop more effective ways of learning and collaborating through networks. As well as inspiring sessions from patient and policy leaders, you’ll have the chance to learn with leading experts in knowledge mobilisation and network leadership. The event will help you raise the profile of your work and try practical, take away methods for problem solving between peers. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about the growing range of resources and opportunities available through Q. Timings: Registration - 9.30-10.30 Lunch - 13.00-14.00 Close - 17.30 Drinks Reception - 17.30-18.30 Patient leaders and those not in paid employment can apply directly to the Health Foundation for expenses reimbursement (travel, carer expenses and if required accommodation) in line with our expenses policy. Please enquire via Q@health.org.uk You may also wish to present a poster at the event. You can use this as another opportunity to talk about a particular issue you are working on or get feedback from peers. Either bring a poster that is pre-prepared or create your own using our template – it doesn’t need to be fancy, just a way of sharing with the community.
