This workshop will showcase some of the recent theoretical and software developments made at TIMES, with a focus on readily available software. In particular, the workshop will showcase:
- FEFF10, the updated and freely available open source version of the FEFF real-space multiple scattering code
- The OCEAN code for GW BSE based calculations of x-ray spectroscopies
- The Corvus workflow framework, and available workflows, which facilitates advanced calculations of x-ray spectra requiring multiple scientific codes.
- WebXAS for L-edge calculations of XRS, RIXS, and ARPES
The workshop will include several talks about the theory behind these codes, as well as hands on demos of the software.
