The Be The Change Foundation is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to provide all TAC 2019 participants Hands Only CPR Training. With this training you will be ready to assist in your community should a life threatening situation arise.
The Be The Change Foundation has a wonderful history with the American Red Cross. They were one of our very first charity partners and continue to be an organization that we support with numerous donations during times of world crisis. We supported the American Red Cross just two weeks ago by helping our first responders who were dealing with the destruction of Hurricane Michael. Several Youngevity Distributors have championed the American Red Cross mission to save lives by installing smoke detectors in areas deemed high risk for fire. These vital acts were the catalyst in Youngevity Be The Change Foundation being awarded the honor of a Humanitarian of the Year Award by the American Red Cross in 2016.
Red Cross training matters!
For more than a century, the Red Cross has prepared people to respond to emergencies of all sizes - from the everyday to the large disaster. Join the millions we train every year and learn the skills that can save a life. Learning how to perform CPR properly takes just 30 minutes, but it can change a life forever. The American Red Cross, offers best-in-class in-person, online and blended learning CPR courses designed for adults, children, healthcare providers, schools and more. However, like many things, if you don't use your skills frequently, they're often easy to forget.
Here are a few stories of how Hands Only CPR has changed lives.
One week after 17-year-old Reid completed his Red Cross CPR training, he needed to use it. In November 2011, Reid saved the life of Jim Hammer after he collapsed at the recreation center where Reid worked. Now friends, they share their story.
